Reviews
The park was quite large and had an outdoor stage.
Great little park to visit. I run by it all the time. The kids can play at the playground, and there are also basketball courts, a pickleball/tennis court, soccer field, and baseball diamond.
Oh, and I should also mention the park has restrooms and a BBQ picnic area with picnic tables. For a small park, it offers a lot. Sometimes the city holds concerts in the park (July & August).
Excellent park to visit for exercise or leisure. We also had a great experience celebrating my son's First Birthday. The process to acquire a permit was very fast and easy.
A beautiful large park just north of the " village". Many large mature trees for plenty of shade . Lots of room for sitting back and relaxing, watching the squirrels and birds play. Nice fenced play ground with partial shade. Picturesque buildings make anice back drop.
Parking is good , but not great
There's just a short walk to the village( down town) of Claremont for food, shopping, and entertainment enjoy!
Came for a Monday night concert featuring THE SILVERADOS 🤗 having a great time …
Clean, organized, super friendly and free!
Love to buy my hamburger, bring my chair and dance with everyone! Fun, fun!
Lots of fun! The historical society is located in the center building in the center of the park. I like all of the renovations. New fresh woodchips have been added and grass seeds.
Claremont is a beautiful town. A national Arbor city, Claremont, gives a small town feel on the middle of the urban scrawl. Memorial Park is a great place for picnicking, playing, jogging, or a pick up game of softball. My family and I have been multiple times for their 4th of July celebration and it is a lot of fun! There are free slides and a rock wall for the kids and plenty of booths giving and selling goods and foods. I highly recommend attending this festival!
